It’s hard to believe it has already been a year that she has been the Property Manager. She likes taking on new challenges, meeting and exceeding financial goals, as well as building and continuing relationships. She loves that every day is exciting and different, an opportunity to learn something new and that Bluestone trusts and empowers her to be the CEO of her property. Her and her team pride themselves having high occupancy and making everyone feel at home no matter if they are building a home and only live there 6 months or 16 years – and yes, the Mayor of Glenmary has lived there that long.

In the summertime it is all about the pool which kicks off with a Memorial Day Cook Out, a July 4th Pizza Party, Labor Day Potluck and Pup Only Pawty to close the pool. They have a Chili Cook Off, Trick or Treat at the Clubhouse and patio decorating contests in the fall and winter. The residents enjoy playing Window Bingo daily.
Machelle Martin has had the pleasure of working at Glenmary Village for 5 years, starting her career there as a Leasing Consultant. She was promoted within a month to the Assistant Manager position thanks to her previous 4 years’ leasing experience in the Lexington market.
