The Louisville Apartment Association focuses on the needs of the multifamily housing industry and works hard to support property members through educational programming and legislative representation.  The LAA is proud to offer a wide variety of benefits that cover all facets of the multifamily housing industry.  When you join the LAA, you open the door to a wealth of opportunity, experience and benefits relating to our industry.  Whether you have one unit or a portfolio of apartment communities, LAA has the resources, contacts and knowledge to help.  The LAA is the face and voice of multifamily housing in the Greater Louisville area and we spend a lot of effort and resources in promoting the benefits, strengths and values of our industry.

1. Professional Development: Continuing education and professional development is key if you want to succeed in your profession. The LAA offers courses, seminars, lectures, events and certification programs to keep members up to date on the latest industry legislative issues, educational updates, research and trends. LAA focuses on building relationships within the membership to provide the opportunity for peer-to-peer learning and potential mentorship opportunities through our various committees which allow members to pool their knowledge and take advantage of each other’s experience.
2. Legislative representation: The LAA continuously advocates and promotes the multifamily housing industry at the federal, state and local level.  LAA strives to build strong relationships with public officials and educate them on issues that impact our industry . A portion of your dues is allocated to pay for services of a lobbyist in Frankfort, KY who lobbies on the behalf of the multifamily housing industry on a local, state and national level. The LAA’s Legislative Committee monitors local policy and issues to ensure we keep you informed about topics that may impact our industry.
3. Unified Voice: Strength comes in numbers! If we want to create change within our industry, we are far more likely to succeed if we have a group of passionate members who will stand up to the issues that are important to you and our industry as a whole. Membership in the LAA will show that your property is committed to staying on top of current developments in the industry and that you are committed to the multifamily housing industry. LAA does more than help their members, we sponsor initiatives that support the future of the industry as well as offer ways in which we can give back to the community that supports us.
4. National Apartment Association Membership :  When you are a member of LAA you are a member of the National Apartment Association.   As a member of NAA, you have the opportunity to take advantage of all that NAA has to offer including the Click & Lease program, the NAA Education Institute, NAA Open Door Program and several meetings and expositions throughout the year. You will Receive up to date information about our industry resources through the national award-winning monthly magazine (UNITS), NAA newsletter and website, and information sharing through social media.

Owner/Management Dues (billed annually):

• 1-50 Units: $100 base + $2.45/unit
• 51-75 Units: $125 base + $2.45/unit
• 76+ Units: $150 base + $2.45/unit
