About The Property

Picture
Linda’s Place Senior Apartments, a new apartment community for seniors aged 62 and older, sits on 12 secluded acres in a beautiful residential neighborhood in Shepherdsville, KY, just 20 minutes from downtown Louisville. Developed by SOCAYR, Inc. and managed by Beacon Proper-ties, Linda’s Place includes 87 spacious and attractive one and two-bedroom apartments. Named in memory of SOCAYR and Beacon’s founder, Linda Arnold – a legendarily kind and tireless entrepreneur – the income-restricted development combines affordable rents with high-end amenities, including valet trash service, in-unit washers and dryers, dishwashers, a seniors-focused fitness room, and cable and high-speed internet included in the rent. A large community room with kitchen includes a walk-out deck over-looking walking paths, a gazebo, and the woods and running creek that border the residential buildings and form part of the property.

Linda’s Place opened in July 2022 and is fully leased. The lease up team has included Beacon President Travis Yates, Executive Assistant Joy DeTore, Regional Manager Hannah Frazier, Property Manager Trey Yates, and Admin Assistant Lauren Perkins. Travis, who is the President of the Louisville Apartment Association, is also Ms. Arnold’s son, and is particularly proud to have been a part of the team that brought this fitting memorial of Beacon’s larger-than-life founder to reality. The property manager is Hannah Frazier, with her Admin Assistant Ambriyana Williams, and Maintenance Tech Dylon Davis. Together, the team brings over 80 years of property management experience to Linda’s Place.

Beacon Properties is a long-term owner/operator of affordable and workforce housing based in Louisville, KY. Beacon has over 300 employees, and owns and manages multifamily properties throughout Kentucky.
