Vesta Derby Oaks also recently opened their new office, and its amazing! It has a club room and a business center for their residents to enjoy.
They welcomed to the team a new Assistant Community Manager, Tanisha Cummings, and hosted a barbecue meet and greet for the residents to introduce themselves. She has been getting acquainted with the property and surrounding areas and is excited about the future of the community and the support from locals. They are thrilled to have had an abundance of inquires about the new community, and look forward to continuing their new lease up with success.

Vesta Derby Oaks has been undergoing a major renovation and they are excited to have completed Phases 1 and 2, with phase 1 moving in 10 new residents. The sidewalks and parking lots are coming along and creating a very clean, modern look. The landscaping has been installed, bringing color and life to the community. The new sign was also a hit with the familiar residents that have decided to stay and has also created great curb appeal for new prospects.
The Vesta Derby Oaks team loves volunteering. They have lent their services and time partnering with Volunteers of America, which provided a great ending for their second quarterly community outreach. They organized their lending closet, and cleaned the daycare center while watching the children for the parents while they conducted personal business.
Derby Oaks also has a partnership with an organization called Move For Hunger. By teaming up with Move For Hunger, one of the nation’s largest year-round service programs, Derby Oaks encourages their residents to donate unwanted food rather than just throwing it away. Move for Hunger movers offer to pick up the unwanted, non-perishable food items from those who are moving and deliver it to their local food banks.
